This is a compilation of Zelda beats I've made over the past 6 months or so. This game defined my childhood. I spent countless hours surrounding myself in the game and it's music, so it's only natural that I pay homage to it in the best way I know how.
I would also like to take a moment to ask you to NOT compare this to Ocarina of Rhyme. I enjoy the HELL out of that project and I listen to it probably almost daily, but this album is trying to achieve something different. While OoR was more of a mash-up album, combining two separate worlds; I wanted to take the original Zelda samples and BUILD upon them in my own personal ways. I ask you to view this project not as "hip-hop remixes" of classic Zelda songs, but as a re-imagining of a classic video game soundtrack. Thank you.
