"These albums are done to pay homage to great soundtracks while doing very little arrangement of the original material; one instrument is recorded for each of the channels of the original NES soundtrack--a note-for-note performance of the original composition (with the drums embellished a bit). Each track was recorded at the exact same tempo as its original counterpart so that it will perfectly lay on top of the game.

There are no words to describe the genius of Nobuo Uematsu. The man is a legend and I'm so grateful for the music that he's given us. I can't believe that the first game soundtrack of his that I covered wasn't a Final Fantasy title, but I enjoyed every minute of this album. Rad Racer is the first of the custom soundtracks for the backers of my Kickstarter campaign. A special thank-you goes to Cassie who requested it!"
