David Sylvian is an English musician most famous for being the lead vocalist of rock/synthpop group JAPAN in the late 1970s. Ever since Sylvian has collaborated with a great number of artist from various genres.

In 2004 Sylvian contributed the ending title "For the Love of Life" to the anime adaptation of MONSTER.
