Same cat.# for different albums

I bought this album about 1 month ago :

I wanted to add it since it's not in the db yet but when typed the cat.#
( MVCD-0001 ) I found out that it was already related to another one :

Is it ok to add it with the same catalog number without messing anything up ?

Yes, it's perfectly fine to submit an album with a catalog number that duplicates one from another entry, as long as they really are two different albums, and in this case they are.

There are a few cases where we have identical cat numbers, particularly with dojins.

Yeah, all it'll do is give you a red warning message, it won't prevent you from submitting.
