Well i'm into buying some rare osts now. But the twenty years ago retail prices are different from the currecnt ones. Well i think it will be nice to make a topic on ost price suggestions. Sometimes stuff on YJA can be overpriced but it's hard to guess if it is or not. So in this situatation i guess it will be wise to ask ost guru's here :)

I think it would be pretty neat for someone to keep a list of prices, but I don't think it could ever really be that accurate, as most of this stuff sells so infrequently. Also, the Japan market and the Western market can have vastly different prices.

Yearh. I don't even care for western market. All stuff is imported from Japan and overpriced. Moreover all rare stuff is still on yahoo. Many people here browse it a lot i guess so they may know many ost prices.

You mean yahoo auctions? I am also interested and would appreciate a link.

Top YJA Game Music page is here:

The most useful subcategory for browsing is the Miscellaneous Game Music category, which currently has over 13,000 CDs for auction.

There are also separate categories for tapes and records, though there are only a handful of auctions on those.

Haha, I see the Ragnarok Online II soundtrack (DVD edition) there for ~60 USD. Certainly overpriced considering I got my copy for only 25 USD.
