Some specific OST recommendation...

The music genre should be mostly industrial (techno, orchestral parts are also fine). As a reference, I liked more dynamic tracks from Ergo Proxy (Deal in Blood, RE-L124c41+, Centzontotochtin, Last Exit to Paradise, Prayer etc). So if you could recommend just a few anime soundtracks that have similar style, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm very bad at recognizing styles of music, but really very bad
the only thing I could do is telling you what soundtracks I like, but in the same style of ergo proxy... I can't really remember anything similar

bah instead of a top3 with only 3 soundtracks, I'll say 3 series which have soundtracks (3 osts is too few)
Ergo Proxy, Ray the Animation and the Escaflowne Movie ost (making 5 osts)

I must specify that I can listen to these ones entirely, there are a lot of other osts I listen to but not entirely, just the catchy songs (probably around 5-10 tracks for certain osts)

Not anime, but have you tried Paul Haslinger's Underworld soundtracks?

Anime, have you tried the Akira OST by Geinoh Yamashirogumi?

I've always thought the ghost in the shell stand alone complex soundtracks were pretty techno..the ones from yoko kanno?
