After looking through some covers I'm fairly convinced that the SSCX prefix doesn't actually "belong" to DigiCube, rather it's used by the distributor Sony Music Entertainment (or SME Intermedia during the DigiCube era). For some of the Squaresoft albums you can spot the internal catalogue prefix of TGCS on the covers.
