Basically, it happens in the same world as it, just thousands of years later. Maybe it would be more prudent to contain all of the albums under a more general "Tindharia" product, similar to the ones in the Laq-Quara series. Still, it holds more connection to Griotte than to Tindharia no Tane not only due to being a direct prequel story-wise, but also because a good part of the songs have rearranged parts from Griotte's songs, and furthermore, bits and pieces of several of these songs are featured in the second-to-last track (Fourth Movement - Madness).

Oh... I almost forgot... the third track (Second Movement - Chance Encounter) also has a rearrangement of "Hanamatsuri no Musume", from Tindharia no Tane.
