It doesn't. But the title is spelled in english as Gallian Chronicles. That's why. And I do have a faint memory that there are other albums where there's english title on the album itself which differs from the japanese title a lot. Can't just remember which ones anymore.

And as coe said, the spine also says clearly Gallian Chronicles in english. I just wonder if Gallian Chronicles was gonna be the original name for the game in US/EU side, but got changed into Valkyria Chronicles.

But then, why didn't later albums get VC as english title. I wonder if it's just because Basiscape decided to release the albums or what.

"Gallian Chronicles" was also used in the song collection (though it's so dumb).


For reference missing tracks from the game, variations of the ending (2.23):
- short/a capella version for an event
- US (voiced) version of the same event, called "A love passed on"
- Short instrumental ver. for the US opening
- Instrumental ver. of the ending (US ending?)
- Alternate version for the (US?) staff roll (added violin and clarinet(?))
Plus a bunch of singles (also reused in VC2 + 3) and unused singles.
The JP op (1.01) and ed (2.25) aren't in the US ver, too.

Solaris Japan has a "Brand New" copy for $120 if you really need it new.
