Default Hi, schmirdns

Breaking news! Friendly neighborhood Rockman music ripper drops in to say 'hi'!

I love how the DB is coming along. I just hope there's still some gaps to fill on the Rockman albums, or else I'm obsolete already.

Don't worry, If a doujin relating to Rockman World 2 ever surfaced here, we'll already know who the original composer was thanks to you. You, yourself, set that bar for all of us.

(Come to think of it, I don't know if that A2 Phoenix project is on here)

EDIT: Just now (~2 PM) read your reply to my questions. Thank you very much for answering. As for Rockman music discussion, it's really all confined in the album and artist boards, where all of us (especially myself) butt heads and fall flat on our faces discussing this sort of stuff. I, personally, have tried to infer track-specific credits for all the remaining games (in the Classic and X series) that lack them on their respective albums forums, and the recent revelations made in the Rockman 10 OST have reassured me that my assumptions are fairly close to the actual results (despite getting 2/8 on the Rockman 10 Robot Master quiz, none of which matched correctly with the 8-bit generation composers). It all started with Chiptuned Rockman and Remastered Rockman Zero, respectively, and from there I improvised with nothing but experience, cold logic, and good ol' common sense.

I am also the only one here that believes that Kirikiri-chan (Rockman & Forte) is Toshihiko "Kirry" Horiyama. Can you believe that?

EDIT (04/04): No longer the case.

EDIT (Again): Oh, so you're responsible for Rockman 10's Stage Start and Stage Clear listings. And here you said you were obsolete...
Meh. Whatever.

Hi Splashman, hope you're finding the db useful. And don't worry, expertise is one thing you can never have enough of on a site like this =)

In any case, I still hope we'll see a "Capcom Music Generation - Rockman World 1-5" OST someday. Maybe the Rockman Killer stages in R10 have even set something in motion.

Well, what's still really missing of course are DB entries for games and individual tracks. But I hear you're already working on that?

No, you can't. Only select people may do that.
You may call me Schmirdn, or Igo-sama.
