I can't believe no one commented anything about Imura yet (at least not in the artist's thread)!

Aside from her work in Wagyan Paradise and 90 Minutes: European Prime Goal, has she worked on anything that isn't Klonoa and track arranges?

No other soundtracks

But there are some other songs ~ five that are on youtube, from a long time ago, uploaded by a friend of hers from university (I think.) Those are nice. She did have a myspace page with Yoshinori Kawamoto that had some songs but that has since disappeared and I never grabbed the songs when it was up. Unfortunately that's all. I do hope she finds an opportunity to write music again, she's easily one of my favourite game composers.

I never heard her song for SUPERB or Twinkle Link remix, but I think I've heard everything else that's known about.

You could contact her on twitter though, if you had some questions. Her English is good and she's very friendly~

Hmm, A REAL SHAME...

(Although now I fear we might find her playing keyboards in a weird Japanese band, completely bald).

Haha, she's a teacher now as far as I know.
I wonder if SEMO would ever like to interview her...

I hope so! Their interviews usually turn out to be very informative (at least in my experience). I'll check out if there's a way to suggest an interview with Imura.

Whenever I stop being lazy and actually get the courage to do so, I might ask her a few questions in Twitter.

Thanks for all the info, Blitz Lunar!

EDIT: Just found out, I think she was born in Suginami (Tokyo).

"Hi Mystick,

Thanks for the suggestion. She could be interesting to interview and it would be much easier if she understands English questions (though we could translate back). When we get the site back up and running, I'll see if I can organise something.

All the best,
Chris"

You mean you'd be glad to suggest some questions, or you could directly influence the interview?

(Because the 2nd one would be great!)

The new site will launch at last on March 17 and we'll be in a good position to request new interviews then. That said, there are no guarantees as even if she agrees, I might not receive responses back, as Dave previously saw with some of our past interviews. That said, our experiences interviewing current and former Namco composers have always been positive in the past, i.e. Go Shiina, Asuka Sakai, Kohta Takahashi, Yuu Miyake, Junichi Nakatsuru, Shinji Hosoe, Ayako Saso, and Taku Inoue. I'm hoping this interview (along with two other Namco ones we're setting up) will continue this line. As the new site will have a neutral name, this will also make arranging interviews much easier.

Here's a thought. The composer of Star Trigon for arcade is unknown, right? But the music sounds really similar to Wagyan Paradise. And given that Eriko Imura did the music to a handful of Namco games in the late 90's and early 2000's, is it possible that Eriko Imura did the music for Star Trigon?

You could try asking her!

The main theme of Star Trigon was composed by Jesahm though, a vocal arrangement of it appeared in Taiko no Tatsujin 13 so we have the composer for that song specifically.

Right, but even though it says Composition, Arrangement, & Lyrics, that could mean composition of the Taiko no Tatsujin version only (and that "composition" is being used more liberally). But yeah, I guess Jesahm is the most logical option so far...

I really doubt it. Namco/NBGI has always been extremely good with noting when reprised tracks were composed by someone else, even if it's just calling the composer "NBGI."

As mentioned above, Lunar has successfully asked her stuff on Twitter in the past.

Oh, okay, that's good to know about Namco.
