Another alias/mistranslation (delete as appropriate), unless they're siblings... One of Hideki Kanazashi's other aliases is "nigeta zap" though, so it's either a rather large coincidence or they're the same person.

I think you're right on this. There's no supporting evidence for anyone named Nigeno Kanazashi, and the composer information for that album is only given on English language sites, presumably taken from someone's research covering who composed which game. JGML lists Hideki Kanazashi and Soko Oya as the composer for 3D Hot Rally, so that's what we should go with.

It's possible that the composers came from the booklet, and that Nigeno is another alias, but we'll need to see booklet scans to determine it.

Nige no Kanazashi roughly translates to "Runaway Kanazashi". I wonder what this means? I ask because in Air Fortress he's credited (in the USA version) as Escaper Kanagushi. Was he trying to get out of HAL or something? Maybe it was an inside joke.
