Clarice Disc just put up a 11-minute sampler of this upcoming Sunsoft Remix album on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK1VHPdXTvw

According to this page, there will be a second disc:

http://claricedisc.shop-pro.jp/?pid=35053264

A Google translation implies that the second disc will contain composer Masashi Kageyama's original versions of music from Gimmick!, kind of similar to the original demo versions on the recently released Sonic 1 & 2 soundtrack? Anyone knowledgeable in Japanese who can confirm/deny?

That's right, disc 2 has Kageyama's arranged track(s?) + original demos (DAT sound source).

Anyone willing to lend a hand with the tracklist translation? There's only 3 tracks in Japanese on the main disc (rest is in English):

01. 小さなぬくもり

08. へべれぼりゅーしょん

10. 選択の先の物語

What would good translations for these be?

Could you add both tracklists to the album when you get the chance?

Will do once I get the CD. Since the second disc seems to be only demo versions of music from Gimmick!, I'm assuming that tracklist is already completely in English (all the tracks from that game have names in English as seen on the previous Rom Cassette Disc In SUNSOFT compilation).

Finally transcribed most of the credits and tracklist. It's still missing the credits regarding the arrange version of Gimmick on the second disc (some are in Japanese) which are on the booklet, and some I wasn't able to translate (the one on the back cover (Player) and the credits on track 7).
Johnny seems to be misspelt on the inlay of the album as Jonny.
Still, this should be better than nothing.

Tatsuya Shiina is listed as one of the arrangers, but he's not given a specific track anywhere, so my guess is he's the arranger of the uncredited track 2. (Theoretically I guess it's possible that one or more of the other arrangers collaborated on it too.)

What's the opinion on these arrangements, and on the Demo Gimmick material?

Typo or not, shouldn't track 2 be "Mine Blastre" ? I don't see "Mine Blaster" anywhere.

As for the arrangements, I like most of them. That Route53 one though-
