Alias is always auto-created when you do the linking. Not the same thing as variation (which has to be entered on the artist's page). Variation is just a small difference, strongly resembling the display name [on the artist's page] e.g. Satoru Kosaki (display) - Satoru Kousaki (variation). Anything other which is completely diffrent is an alias. At least that's how it's supposed to be in theory...
You can't keep kanji if you do the inline alias (currently it's the one used here). If you believe there are good reasons, you can create a new, separate artist page for 'Hibiki Miwa' (as an alias page and link it with this page here) and enter kanji/hiragana on that page in the usual way. ah that's why there is no alias field in edit page
and it's ok as it is, I think this alias is only used for that tico anime so no need for a new page |

Do we consider her important enough for the database that we would add something as "works" based on a single track that she contributed?

Probably not. Like many other composers, she does not primarily score anime/games. Her drama/movie works outnumber her db-related works by almost double. Are there any other relevant composers you want to add?

Nope. It was a classical album, and she's the only composer remotely anime/game related. I figured as much.

I guess you're talking about In 27 Pieces. Well you could always add For The East instead. I've been meaning to do it myself...

She composed music for the smart phone game "Aerial Legends".
Looks like there was some twitter event in April, where they gave away 50 copies of the soundtrack. For everyone else, there's a crossfade demo..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhnO8kZg_Y4 |

Well that sucks. Oshima never mentioned that game on her blog so it wasn't even on my radar. Now I have to pray it shows up on an auction site or something.
Edit: To add salt to the wound, the tweet only had 250 RTs. Would have been a 1/5 chance of winning. Last edited by cal; May 7, 2017 at 04:54 AM. |
