I'm just guessing in regards to how many discs there will be, maybe they can fit it all on one.

It will be CD, Vinyl and digital, as usual.

I, for one, am really looking forward to this and vol. 2.

Seeing as they're two CDs, I hope that means the tracks will loop this time.

Related albums panel is an auto-feature if the text entered in products field is the same.

Yeah the feature's a bit of a blunt instrument in that regard.

I've always thought it'd be handy if there was an ability to override the automation and manually link albums together even if they were not directly tied to each other by a specific game yet were intrinsically linked nonetheless.

For example:

So that limited run of signed copies sold out instantly. Fucking instantly.

I refreshed that page 20 times leading up to the release time and the 5 seconds it took to press the buy button and save my payment information; oops couldn't process the order, were sold out!

Did anyone actually manage to get theirs? Because this is horseshit and I'm genuinely pissed. I feel like scalpers used sniper programs to buy up the entire stock instantly so that it could be resold. I see that all the time with limited run products. Make them insanely limited so nobody that actually wants it can buy it, and allow the people who make it a business to profit off it.

I fucking hate limited runs. If anything. Just ruins the whole hobby.

I didn't try, but I did see it disappear extremely fast. A bunch of people on Twitter say they managed to get it, but there's no telling if they'll sell it or not. I'm trying to purchase the CDs via BigWax now, but their site has been completely dead since 16:35, and they of course refused to put the CDs up for pre-order earlier, like you could on Bandcamp. Apparently you can get the digital files from Bandcamp if you e-mail your receipt to Brave Wave even though you purchased via BigWax.

As a European I'm happy the regular edition of the boxset is sold via Big Wax in France although their VAT and shipping costs are ridiculous (plus 35€ on top...). I didn't even bother to go for the limited edition since it was a desaster with the SFII boxset already and now you find them on discogs for three times the price.

I did manage to get one. I'm not a fan of super limited but it is what it is.

Oh, it's just one. Nevermind.

Edit: What's this? Composer breakdown?

Anyone planning on updating this page? http://vgmdb.net/album/3907 If not, I will.

Hey guys. Can anyone with the CD check to see if their copy has two seconds missing from the end of track 19 ("Requiem")?

Mine also cuts off the end of track 19. Does anyone's not?

Also, as Brad Evans has stated here, some tracks are not in the proper order.

Also, my brother (who ripped the CD for me) couldn't get the track names off the database, probably because the track lengths don't match.

Edit:

It's a good thing Brave Wave offers the digital album as well. Everything looks fine on that side (It's higher than CD quality as well!)

Seeing as how our page is for the physical version, if anybody who owns the CD could ensure our tracklist matches up, that'd be great. The tracklist was copied over from Bandcamp along with the track times but it seems there is some discrepancy between CD and digital so it needs to be fixed up.

Okay, but shouldn't there be a separate entry then for CD and digital?

Potentially. All depends how different things are between the two. If it's fairly minor then a comment in the album notes may be enough.

Okay, I updated it. All the CD tracks seem to be 2 seconds longer (I checked my CD and there was no added silence during ripping).

Some music also plays at a different rate (this is probably another issue of 48kHz music being sampled at 44kHz like Dynamite Deka / Wing War):

10 Eyecatch
19 Requiem
28 Cinema Display Sound Attack 1 (mislabeled as 'Game Over')

Ugh

I updated the track titles to remove the console notation ((NES), [NES]), it's not part of the track titles in the inserts.
