I got a CDJapan order in today (only took 2 days, which I think is a record for me), so I'll be ripping and scanning those before getting back to video game scans.

That's fine with me. I doubt there are many game manuals that include song lyrics anyway.

I'll just point out that there's a Dragon Quest symphonic album where in its album discussion thread, since the booklet includes about 50 pages of sheet music, it was argued against adding scans of the entire booklet, as there would be "no info to be gained from it".

Definitely interesting to read. While I don't think the quote is inherently accurate in a vacuum, there's definitely nothing an editor could do to the site that's helped by that info (although I know some sort of sheet music support has been suggested on occasion, so if that was added, there suddenly would be info to gain). Any info can be gained from scans, though, I certainly make use of scans that only help other sites. Sometimes that info ends up inspiring new site features.

The one thing about the song lyrics that I can think of as already helping the site editors directly is that it's readily available proof that the English version has an exclusive song translation, so helps with the U.S. and Japanese releases not being linked as musically identical. Not the best help if the Japanese manual doesn't do the same for its version, but it's something.

The sides aren't quite identical. The fronts have the number of discs, while the backs have the catalog number.

Since it's a simple extra cropping, I'll include both with and without scans until I see what is being added here. I've also uploaded descreened fronts for ones you've already added that are my old, non-descreened scans.
