For the physical CD release, should I create a child album?

If the release of the CD version is concurrent with the digital and the content is identical then we should have that listed here with the digital version covered in the notes.

According to the Bandcamp page, the physical album will ship on March 31st. The contents appear to be identical.

So I would just change this album page to the CD release and make a note that "The digital version of this album was released on March 27, 2017".

Edit: Oh, and you can make a child album for the limited edition CD.

Gone ahead and made those alterations.

@GermanSeabass - if you could update the Limited Edition album with the relevant catalog + barcode numbers, that'd be great.

The official title is Hero of Time (Music from "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time")

We have four releases, each with different art and release dates. What's the easiest way to add that information and link releases?
  • Digital release (March 27, 2017)
  • CD Release (April 2017)
  • Limited Edition CD Release (April 2017)
  • Vinyl release (Q2 2017)

Here's all the artwork for each: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/26ukem3a9...8yXWuqSDa?dl=0

New info says the CD versions ship on (or around) April 24th, reverting this one to digital.

Kickstarter backers have been promised the digital version on Sunday evening Pacific Standard time. Pending that does indeed happen, should the release date for the digital album then be changed to the March 26 2017 instead of March 27 2017? Or should we go when it is commercially available to the wider public?

^ Probably no change, I think there's an agreement of sorts to go with the general release date for most things, when possible.

Backers get the album a few hours early, but the release date is still March 27.

I've just downloaded my copy and seen that there is a 22nd track. Is this a backer exclusive track or not?

It's Bandcamp exclusive. I suppose it could be justified as a hidden track?

I almost feel like tracks 2 and 3 should have Joe Hisaishi listed as composer. The Princess Mononoke "insperation" borderlines plagiarism in my opinion.
