Amazing electro ambient music.
You can stream the whole album on Hype Machine

It's on Spotify and Bandcamp also, as well as Amazon MP3 and iTunes (though who needs those when you've got Bandcamp).

First listen made me think of a less quirky Opoona. Definitely will be giving it some more attention.

In case anyone is unaware, these are all very much real artists outside of the scope of this album. They're all on a record label named Ghostly International and Tychos album "Awake" is one of my top albums of the year. If you like the music featured here, check out their catalog as I'm sure they all have something recent.

So is it safe to say the tracks are all compiled, not composed specifically for the game? Kind of surprised there isn't an album category for that here.

I don't know about the other artists but none of Tycho's tracks are new to this album. I'm fairly certain it's just a cleverly labeled Ghostly International artist sampler cd.

http://www.ghostly.com/releases/hohokum-soundtrack

"The music of Hohokum mirrors the game’s eclectic and detailed landscape, with a wide selection of Ghostly artists contributing their songs. Between musicians and producers like Tycho, Shigeto, Matthew Dear, and Com Truise, the soundtrack is a fully realized exhibition of contemporary electronic sounds. Hohokum Soundtrack arrives on August 12 as a 22-song digital compilation and on October 28 as a rainbow-colored 12” vinyl sampler featuring seven special cuts."
