I think he's free-lance, as his blog profile states, and there is no precedent case that a Falcom sound staff was also part of jdk Band which has always consisted of hired musicians. That being said, I'm not surprised if Falcom ever hired him, given his talent and versatility, as well as the rumor that two staffs have left Falcom recently.

Did he left the jdkBAND or he never was a part of it? His twitter profile only says he's a member of the SQ F.O.E band.

As far as I know, he was officially part of the band, however, I'm not sure if he left or not. His absence from the Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki Super Arrange Album was surprising though.
