I notice there's a Daisuke Matsuoka credited for "scoring" on the FFXIII album. I wonder if it's the same person.

Either way, we don't have album to link this person.

Yep, although Nintendo has explicitly said elsewhere that Yamamoto and Hamano also arranged music for the game.
I suspect that Tajima's "support" role also involves him writing music as well. |

He just got more amazing - seems that he's the sole composer/arranger of the soundtrack for Bowser's Fury / Fury World, which honestly is one of the most classic Mario-sounding soundtracks in a while. Glad to see him working on some of Nintendo's big properties finally. Now if we could get him along with Sudo or Tajima for the next big Mario Kart...

James Phillipsen could plausibly have contributed music as well. There are some other sound team members in there too but those are the only two who have for sure written music for a Nintendo game at some point.
Nintendo please stop this and just list roles with people's names, I beg you orz |

That's certainly possible, especially since credits are so vague. While that would be quite unprecedented for a mainline Mario game, there are other things that make this release unique, so you never know. And yeah, I don't get what the deal is with the credits... too hard to credit basic roles? None of the other games seem to have this problem. Seems like they just followed suit from the original 3D World credits.
Spotted Kenji Yamamoto in special thanks - could he have lent a hand for the electric guitar parts (like how he did in Tropical Freeze)? Probably would never get any specific confirmation, but it's fun to speculate. |

Bowser Theme kind of reminds me of Ludwig from Bloodborne https://youtu.be/ALbVEmzY5S4?t=185

Is there any way to confirm that he wrote the metal boss themes from DKC: Tropical Freeze? I've seen people link him to those tracks, but without any proof.

The heavy electric guitar boss themes from Tropical Freeze were written by David Wise: https://twitter.com/David_Wise/statu...tiqEpXoFw&s=19
