EDIT - I guess it's an arrangement.

It could be Original Soundtrack, since some site say the music was arranged for a DVD/LD release and that's what this album contains.

So arrangement in this case isn't really the same as we think of for games. Okay, let's go with that.

Well, I'm sorry if my latest post was somewhat misleading.

From what I read, when the movie received a DVD release, the music and voice was also reproduced (5.1ch mixing, live recordings and whatnot) and the new music was used in the DVD so I thought it would fall under Original Soundtrack. And in my understanding, we have the same policy for games (a soundtrack for a remake/port is classified as Original Soundtrack, like this). I've never watched this movie, so this is my superficial assumption, though.

Cedille is right. The Patlabor and Patlabor 2 movies both received updated 5.1ch sound mixes that were completely re-created from scratch with new voice acting, new sound design, and new music.

The point is it's not an arrangement CD of the original music, but the original soundtrack of the updated version of the movie.
