Thumbs up BATMAN The Animated Series vol.1 and vol. 2

LA LA LA LAND RECORDS will be soon release soundtracks from Batman animation TV series composed by Shirley Walker, Michael McCuistion, Lolita Ritmanis, Harvey R. Cohen, Carlos Rodriguez, Carl Swander Johnson and others.

1. Batman Animated series vol 1 (second edition) by Shirley Walker, adding new tracks expanding the limitation to 5000

2. Batman Animated series vol2 4Cd set by different composers limited to 3500

What a great news, really amazing music by all composers.

All the best

What?! They're going to re-release Vol.1 with more tracks? Why couldn't they have them in the original? Damn, I hate when this happens. Just lost a customer.

Indeed. The funny thing is, I think the listening experience improves with the two tracks in question removed. While I'm not sure about the removed suite (I'd guess all the scores on the two released and the upcoming third will take care of the music used in that track anyway) I for one can live without that "piano interview - theme explanation"-track.

And that aside, both volumes contain pretty great stuff.
Awesome releases all around!
