B-Side: vinyls... You know very well vinyl has two sides
It may look strange to use it with CDs, but the term is valid even today (while it has lost its literal meaning).

it may not, it's strange
because cds have one side, it's the first time I saw someone using that for cds hence my interrogation if it's really related to vinyl

to me, it hasn't its place for a cd album/single

It's a lot less common term, but it's still there, whether you like it or not.

However, the term "B-side" is still used to refer to the "bonus" tracks or "coupling" tracks on a CD single.

Yes, it is. B-side is widely accepted terminology for cds whether you like it or not. Go look at how many modern albums are labeled "B-Sides and Rarities".
