On April 1, 2009, KOEI and Tecmo merged under the new parent company TECMO KOEI HOLDINGS, and on April 1, 2010, KOEI and Tecmo were absorbed into TECMO KOEI GAMES and ceased to be independent developers.
KOEI continues to exist as a game brand and imprint under which TECMO KOEI publishes music
