METHUSELAH Commissioned by FACT (Liverpool, UK) for FACT Together. Supported using public funding by Arts Council England and funded by Liverpool City Council.
METHUSELAH is an interactive digital narrative by artist and experience designer Elle Bulger. The story guides the reader-player through a series of vignettes taking place in the non-human world, exploring the often unseen connections, competitions and collaborations between flora, fauna, landmasses, weather systems and celestial bodies. It's also a celebration of the history of digital narratives, with influences ranging from dating simulators and text-based adventure games to classic JRPGs. This music is intended not only to be a backdrop to the artwork but an aesthetic, narrative and conceptual response to it.
