Hey Howdy Fat Rangers!

A good friend had been uneasy about going to a party, especially since certain family members were going to be there. When I saw her next, she shared that she had discovered the secret to a successful party: "Look your best and love everybody there." Too good not to go into a song. Fortunately, we'd just been hired to work on a birthday game. Something is taking care of us, isn't it? Shout out to MJ!

Tell you what, Joe, Kevin and Dave were my best friends for many years, and we were making this album even as it was becoming clear that time was coming for Team Fat to ride off into the sunset. A lot of affection needed to be expressed, and the alert listener might imagine that they hear some such "feels" in this music. But the aware listener will also understand that something as big and wonderful as our run as Team Fat mainly begs to be celebrated, and that's the overwhelming sentiment I hear and recall when I listen to this again after so many years.

Speaking of Team Fat, not enough gets said about Teresa and Linda, but I will let historians discover how they were the Real Geniuses behind Team Fat. It will take, like, zero effort to prove it.

And let's not forget Tim the Mighty Curator, the most recent member and also obviously the Real Genius behind Team Fat.

And all you Fat Rangers, you Real Geniuses behind Team Fat; welcome to a world of puppies, duckies, Martians, and cowboy composers gone amok. It's a beautiful party, and we're glad to see you looking your best and loving everybody here. The feeling is mutual!
