Notes
Cave Story is an important game to me, so I decided around a month ago to make a remix album for it, and now I'm releasing it. Thank you Pixel for making such an inspiring game!
Re : Cave Story is a remaster of the original Cave Story soundtrack, the goal is to make listening to the soundtrack a more enjoyable experience overall. It takes advantage of the capabilities of Pixel's more recent audio engine, pxTone.
There are some liberties taken, as well as some instruments that simply do not resample as intended due to issues in pxTone's resampling algorythm.
Included are Cave Story songs, Cave Story Beta songs, and a (not so big) surprise hidden in there. All of which are spruced up to sound cleaner than their original variants!
I DO NOT OWN CAVE STORY, this is simply a remix of the original game's album, please go buy Cave Story + on Steam, Epic, or the Nintendo Switch to support the developer and publisher.
