I'm so excited about the launch of Octopath Traveler 2! When a preview of all the traveler themes was released a couple weeks ago, I knew I had to do a cover of Agnea's theme. I downloaded the demo on the day it was released and started as Agnea so that I could hear the theme before it was officially released so that I could finish my arrangement and record it.
I asked Ian Martyn to play some high whistle for me to round out the full band sound, and I decided to invent Irish erhu. Maybe it's been done, or maybe not? Anyway, it was a ton of fun to put together, and I'm super excited about the release in 10 days!
