'Incidentally, this track was introduced to me on the same day that Ian and I had a rather influential conversation that ultimately led to this fruitful collaboration. So it makes a lot of sense that this would be our first track out as a duo.
I hope you enjoy listening to this half as much as I enjoyed working on it. It's a tune that's started to mean quite a lot to me, and I hope all the feelings I experienced and tried to convey come across.
I look forward to everything that Ian and I have planned after this. But I'm so glad this is our first little creation you get to hear. Thanks for your support.'

'I remember the first time I heard Xeno Arcadia. I was almost mad at how good it was. I had wanted to do a cover of it for some time, but it wasn't until I started working with Carrie that I knew we were the right people to tackle this monster of a track. Chuck did a lot with a little in his original composition. I like to think we made it extra stinky while paying homage to what makes the original so delectable in the first place.'
