In commemoration of The Super Mario's journey to a savage new world, which he subsequently conquered through violence, Sean, Ty, and I have arranged three of The Super Mario's favorite songs and released them to the universe, so that The Super-Mario Day may be enjoyed by all, Patron and public alike! I Accidentally the Whole Mario

What started as a Famitracker project file, in 2012, has become something I've revisited a half-dozen times, over the years, mostly for yet another attempt and mixing and mastering. Now, after all this time, I've finally figured out how to tackle this medley of the Super Mario Land and Super Mario Bros. overworld themes, engineering-side: let Tanner do it. :)

Relaxing on a Sunday

A smooth-jazz take on the Super Mario Bros. 2 Overworld theme, featuring a crystal-clear guitar performance by our favorite axe man, "Relaxing on a Sunday" does what it says on the tin. Always in service of the track, Sean's precise timing and even voicing articulate this arrangement's intricacies to beautiful effect.

Welcome Goombo Probably

Courtesy of the artist formerly known as Suzumebachi. Glassy electric piano and swiss cheese guitar work make up the gist of this soul jazz rock lounge cheese fusion arrangement of the Stage 1 and 2 themes from Super Mario Land but also Super Mario 64 because sometimes cheese just needs to ape a melody somehow. Did you know the baddies in Super Mario Land aren't Goombas? They're Goombos. This is a fact. Look it up.
