"Project Ages is compilation of my many video game music remix/covers tributes made in the past six years. I have decided to re-release some of those tracks into themed albums in order to facilitate listeners to pick their own game/genre and listen to the music of those videogames and/or composers.

If there is a genre I have enjoyed from tender age is the good ol shmup. Being a bit of a sci-fi enthusiast and raised reading sci-fi books and tv series, the chance to hop on a starfighter and shoot every evil alien in the universe is something Id never pass up on. A shame nowadays the genre is not as popular as it once was due to the arcade boom, but I trust these tracks from several iconic games will bring you some awesome shmup memories. Enjoy!" - Shiryu
