Notes

""Race Against Time" is a colossal venture of a mini-album, packed with over thirty minutes of crushing metal, speeding riffs, unsettling atmosphere, and other action buzz-words. Started as a traditional re-recording of three video game soundtrack medleys, the project developed over time to becoming a proper flowing release filled with new songs, styles, and a higher-standard of sound quality and texture. In addition to three exciting medleys, already encompassing a range of progressive rock and metal arrangements, two exclusive tracks sandwich the album.

From the classic Super Nintendo race title "F-Zero", the album opens up with the growling low-tuned "Big Blue", a progressive and driving take on the fun racetrack original. In addition to heavy riffs and fast-paced beat, the song features progressive metal band GEMANON's lead guitarist, James "Thizzkitz" Fraser for a blistering solo. Continued is Moon Mask Medley, a collection of haunting and rock-driven tunes from the Nintendo 64 classic "Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask". For a cool-down, the EP moves to the "Age of Empires II" Acoustic Medley to fill the air with Celtic-inspired hymns from the retro-turned-modern strategy game. Bringing back to the racetrack, the album dives in with a medley of rock, metal, and even blues songs from the racer "Diddy Kong Racing" for the Nintendo 64. Just before it all hits the finish, we take flight with "Soaring the Skies" from the modern remake "Pokemon: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" for the Nintendo 3DS. Surrounded with metal, electronic, and rock/blues influence, you'll be racing against time in this intense, albeit bite-sized collection of remixes.

Special thanks to Jon P., Kellie J., and many more for humongous support, James Fraser for an incredible solo on "Big Blue", and everyone on Youtube who keeps inspiring and being inspired.

All other guitars, bass, synths, and drums were recorded/programmed by me."
