The song was a crossover between the band, celebrating their 25th anniversary, and the video game series Biohazard, celebrating its 20th anniversary

The Complete Limited Edition Biohazard® x L'Arc-en-Ciel Edition is packaged in an LP-sized, "-Human x Zombie-" lenticular cover that changes images depending on viewing angle. As special bonus tracks, the CD includes sound clips taken from "Don't be Afraid -Biohazard® X L'Arc-en-Ciel on PlayStation® VR-", featuring famous dialogue from the Biohazard/Resident Evil series selected by the development team and recorded by the members of L'Arc-en-Ciel.
The accompanying Blu-Ray includes the "Don't be Afraid" music video, as well as the "Don't be Afraid -Biohazard® X L'Arc-en-Ciel on PlayStation® VR-" 6-Sided Multi View Movie, which converts the VR music video into 6-sided 2D for viewing, the Biohazard® 20th Special History Movie, which covers the Resident Evil series' 20-year history, and the Resident Evil 7 Tape 1 trailer.
