This album was completely re-recorded and sold online by Jerry Buckner and Gary Garcia after they failed to secure the original 1982 LP masters from CBS. The first 300 pre-orders were personally autographed and came with a bonus 8x10 photograph. K-tel International began distributing the album from 2002 onwards.
The release date was originally stated as June 1st on their website (having already been delayed from May 15) but shipping only started from around the 18th.
