"Dear Alice" was announced as cover and remix album to feature 6 new works around 07th Expansion's visual novel "TRianThology: Sanmenkyou no Kuni no Alice" released in 2016.
Its physical copies came in two visually different variants: "Twilight ver." and "Dawn ver." While the contents of both versions of the album stayed the same, they varied in CD prints and album covers to further express the different moods presented by the music.

The tracks of "Twilight ver." and "Dawn ver." were produced by Gin Kreuz (tracks 1-3) and xaki (from Pomexgranate.) (tracks 4-6); the two album designs were created by Gin Kreuz and xaki to represent their respective halves of the album.

"Dear Alice" was first released on Comiket 94. It was later re-released on events such as 07th MASQUERADE and has since seen web releases on Spotify and FansOne.
