Yasuhiro Misawa is a freelance composer. He joined KOEI's BGM Division after graduating from the Nihon University College of Art in 1999. After leaving KOEI in 2005, he briefly worked as an assistant to composer Yoshihiro Ike. In 2007, he made his anime debut composing music for the series Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!. Since then, he has become a regular collaborator of anime director Masahiko Ohta, having composed music for every one of the director's TV series since 2007.
