American music composer and violinist. Joined The Walt Disney Studios in 1934, persuaded by his friend Larry Morey, where he served as orchestrator and conductor, thanks to his classically trained background. Later, he became a composer himself and scored nearly 70 animated shorts from the 1930s to the 1950s, as well as numerous animated features, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Bambi, and Cinderella.
