Kosuke Yamashita is a classically trained composer and arranger for Japanese media. Famous for his Super Sentai Magiranger & Gokaiger, Nobunaga's Ambition and Chihayafuru. He combines Rock and Jazz with various Classical and 20th Century film music styles. He works as arranger and orchestrator for Joe Hisaishi. In 2003 he recorded with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra for Nobunaga's Ambition: Soutenroku. In 2006 he recorded with the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra for MMORPG R2 Reign of Revolution. In 2009 he recorded with the Tokyo New City Orchestra for Space Battleship Yamato Resurrection. In 2016 he recorded with the Kanagawa Philharmonic as arranger and orchestrator for SaGa: Scarlet Grace and recorded a symphonic album for the SaGa series with the FILMharmonic Orchestra of Prague. Recently he has become an active arranger for orchestral game music concerts and albums, working with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.
