Notes

S.S.H. (Saitama Saisyu/Saishuu Heiki) is a game music doujin (fan) arranger turned professional, specialising in the synth rock/metal genre. Originally, S.S.H. was a unit consisting of two brothers living in the Saitama Prefecture, Japan. In actuality, it is the younger brother who composes the music.

He developed an interest in music at 12 years old and wrote his first song at 15. After that, he continued improving his music composition and arranging skills with game music arranges etc..., and began distributing his music online with the Internet, mostly via his own website. During his time as an amateur artist, he had a flair for creating exceptional cover arranges of classic game music.

At the age of 21, he made his commercial debut in 2003 with the Lost Child soundtrack.

S.S.H.'s most well known works include the Lost Child Original Sound Tracks (Side-A and Side-B) as well as the Atelier Iris arrangement albums (working alongside fellow fan music arranger, Toshinori Hiramatsu). His first claim to fame, of course, was from his synth rock/metal arrangement of game music, some of which he makes available for download on his website.

Currently (as of 2004), he resides to the east of the city of Saitama. Everyday, he endeavours to fulfill his dream: "In the future, I'd like to live peacefully with a big dog at the base of a mountain somewhere..."

But first, he must overcome his allergy to animals.

Note: A combination of original research and information gathered from the Sixty Nine2 Original Soundtrack's booklet (HBMS-013) was used for the writing of this biography.
