Garyu Matsumoto is the leader of ROBA HOUSE, a group of Japanese musicians dedicated to the revival and performance of early European and Asian instruments. The group was created in 1992, after Matsumoto traveled to France, where he discovered a 12th-century folk song. They now have their own label, Kromhoorn Record.
