Manabu Namiki is a Japanese freelance composer known for his work on video game music, particularly in the shoot 'em up genre, contributing to titles such as "Battle Garegga" and "Ketsui." He has worked for several notable companies in the industry, including Allumer, NMK (April 1992 - March 1995), Raizing (April 1995 - April 2000), Basiscape (fall 2003 - January 2012) and M2 (February 2012 - 2017).

On March 17, 2024, he announced that he would be changing the kanji of his given name from 学 to 學. This change honors his grandfather's initial naming choice, which utilized the more traditional form of the kanji, 學, instead of the simplified 学.
