Sam Powell studied Classical Guitar and Composition at Grossmont and SDSU back in the 70s and went on to play in various Folk Duos, Top 40, Country and Blues Bands.


He has been in the video game industry since 1987, first in arcade and then riding the first waves of home and online games. He has composed music and designed sound effects for many games including Everquest and Jurassic Park. Sam is the founder of Play It Again Studios, where he works out of his studio on his 10 acre ranch in Ramona, California, just east of San Diego.

Now retired, he currently plays and sings Classic Country and Classic Rock with histalented wife Sherry in Two the Moon.
