He has worked for several notable companies in the industry, including Allumer, NMK (April 1992 - March 1995), Raizing (April 1995 - April 2000), Basiscape (fall 2003 - January 2012) and M2 (February 2012 - 2017).
On March 17, 2024, he announced that he would be changing the kanji of his given name from 学 to 學. This change honors his grandfather's initial naming choice, which utilized the more traditional form of the kanji, 學, instead of the simplified 学.
