Joined NHK's Sapporo broadcasting station in 1952.
They left that position in 1954 to join Nippon Broadcasting System, Inc., which had just opened at the time, working on sound effects and then radio production until leaving the company in 1986.
Founded the production company Radio Press in 1989, serving as its CEO.
