Keiichi Oku is a classically trained composer and arranger for Japanese media. Famous for Ojamajo Doremi and Ashita no Nadja. He writes in various Classical music styles incorporating elements of Rock and Synth sounds. In the early 90s he co-composed and orchestrated various symphonic pop albums. In 1995 he arranged Masahiro Ando's music for Arc The Lad with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. and composed and arranged a symphonic requiem for Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna, performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with Friends. In 1996 he composed and conducted a symphonic piece for the Atlanta Olympic Games, performed by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. In 1998 he wrote a symphonic suite for the TV Drama "From the Northland", performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic National Orchestra of Poland. In 2009 he won the JASRAC International Award for BGM for TV Anime Ashita no Nadja.
