from pictures on internet and guess, I'd say booklet scans are digipak scans in fact
from left to right (when the digipak is put on a table/desk/etc. --visible part)
- not-tray side -> booklet 3, 2, 4 (back of folded digipak) + front, 1
- tray side -----> booklet back + 3 cd trays + 1 dvd tray
edit: I think the digipak is folded like a book (when you open it, you see "booklet 1" and "booklet 2" / front + 4 on table / 3 in the fold)
