It probably is like the role of an orchestrator. The harmonies and melodies are Uematsu's, definitely, but some of the touches in the instrumentation are better than his work usually is. There are tracks that have less work done on them and tracks that have more, but Uematsu's strength has always been melody, and NOT arrangement.
