If we want to nitpick, the deal with used copies isn't completely legal, either. The manufacturer/label got the money for that copy of the album from the original buyer.... which is the one you're going to pay. Your money doesn't go where it should.
My main concern with this album is that it was a pre-order bonus, I obviously can't tell if it's still included in the Steam "package", but even if it wasn't.... hey, you were late this time, tough luck and move on. I'm pretty sure this wouldn't be the first time that a digital bonus/pre-order soundtrack simply disappears.
