This isn't an idiot, this is a troll. They're good at making YOU look like the idiot. Best advice I have to you is to immediately block this kind of person and delete their comments. Internet arguments are not something you want to engage in, though I say this as someone who was told as much and still did it many years ago, so I guess it's a bit of a rite of passage.
