According to
this site, Video Games Live will be televised June 2010 on PBS (Public Boring Station. Just kidding, I like that station
). Unfortunately, it's only a taping of the live event which will take place on February 5th, 2010. Regardless, it's still awesome to see an event dedicated to video game music broadcast on public television.
So don't forget to set those DVRs!...6 months from now.

What is "the box" that people are supposed to think outside of anyway? Hmm. Maybe it's similar to the Borg from Star Trek who dwelled as a collective hive-mind within a...box/cube. Those that deviated from this hive-mind would, in effect, be thinking outside of the box. it has both a figurative and a literal meaning.
